ADULT EYE EXAM
Checking visual acuity is only one component of an eye exam. During a comprehensive Eye Exam, Dr. Ho will examine your eyes for possible diseases and eye conditions such as glaucoma, retinal problems, dry eyes and cataracts. Conditions such as glaucoma, diabetes and hypertension can be detected at early stages, even if you or your family does not show symptoms. We recommend that you have your eyes checked every 12 months and will remind you via e-mail or phone.

PEDIATRIC EYE EXAM
Although a physician examines your baby's vision at birth, it's important to have your child's eyes examined as early as six months of age. Dr. Ho is experienced in offering special care for young children. After the examination, she will provide you with an overview of your child's current vision and development. Subsequent annual exams are recommended to ensure our child is seeing clearly as he/she grows.

CONTACT LENSES EVALUATION & FITTING
See the difference a proper evaluation and perfect fit can make when you have comfortable, healthy contacts that provide optimum visual acuity. Dr. Ho will advise you on your contact lens options to fit your individualized needs. These can include monovision and astigmatism lenses, customized to your current prescription.

DRY EYE TREATMENTS
The desert's extreme weather conditions often cause irritations to the eyes. Sand in the eyes, itchiness, redness or constant watering are all symptoms of Dry Eye. Request a professional Dry Eye evaluation to determine proper treatment, such as lubricating or medicated drops, temporary or permanent plugs and/or surgery.

CATARACT EVALUATIONS
A cataract is the clouding of the normally clear lens of the eye. If colors are not as sharp as they used to be and your vision is still blurry like you're looking out of a foggy window, even with your glasses, it may be beneficial to schedule a cataract evaluation. Clouded vision caused by cataracts can make it difficult to read and drive a car, especially at night. Depending on the severity of the cataract, Dr. Ho will monitor and treat your eyes with polarized lenses and other preventative methods.

PTERYGIUM EVALUATIONS
A pterygium is a non-cancerous growth of the clear, thin tissue over the white part of the eye (conjutiva). One or both eyes may be affected. Pterygium is caused by prolonged exposure to ultraviolet light and dry eyes. If you are concerned about this condition, Dr. Ho can evaluate whether you are in need of surgery or other preventative measures.
